So what does Z275 mean? Simply put, it refers to a heavier galvanized zinc protection layer on the steel. Think of it like a stronger rust-resistant jacket for the metal. Compared with lower galvanization levels such as Z80, Z275 provides significantly stronger protection against moisture, corrosion, and long-term outdoor exposure.
Combined with Tefora’s extra-thick coating system, this layered material structure helps the panels better resist scratches, rust, wet soil, rain, snow, and seasonal weather changes — making the bed well-suited for Canadian backyards and northern outdoor climates.This means better resistance to scratches, rust, heavy soil, and snow loads, helping your bed last 20+ years in harsh climates.
- Weather-Resistant, Garden-Safe Coating:
The protective coating is made with CSM rubber particles, a material commonly used for weather-resistant and chemical-resistant coatings.
Tefora Garden’s material test report shows no heavy metals detected, making the coating safe, non-toxic, and suitable for growing vegetables, herbs, and flowers.
